---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
In a famous, hilltop neighbourhood, the Pinnacle of Del Sol Valley, stands mansion...

This mansion is home to the one and only Anita Bloom, a movie star and very, very popular celebrity

Anita has had a string of lovers throughout the years, but only one stuck around in the spotlight long enough to give her a daughter, Daisy

Daisy is a down to earth girl who doesn't much care for life in the spotlight. She hides away in her mansion home and, while she does enjoy the perks of celebrity living, wishes more than anything for a normal life away from the gawping tourists who take photo after photo of her home

Daisy loves food and cooking and would love to one day be a chef. However, she hardly gets the chance to practice as her Mother, refusing to eat anything below an excellent standard, always has a chef on hand to cater to her every foodie desire
This chef is Penny Pizzazz, who took a job in Del Sol Valley in hopes of rubbing shoulders with the rich and famous - over time, though, she's realised that she doesn't care for that lifestyle at all, and sympathises with Daisy, with whom she's formed a close relationship over the years

Daisy Bloom does not even attend a normal school, with her Mother wanting to hide her away as much as she can as to not make herself seem 'common' by sending her daughter to even the most prestigious schools - instead, Daisy is homeschooled and has been since she was a toddler

In her moments of freedom, Daisy desperately tries to feel normal, escaping to bars and nightclubs while her Mother is away on international trip after international trip

Not being able to have friends (most are too jealous or insecure to have a friend with such a famous mother) or meet people at school, Daisy resorts to forming one-day relationships

Anywhere her mother drags her, she's followed by paparazzi. Luckily, she isn't so interesting alone, and she isn't often found by the paparazzi. However, sometimes they find her and she's less than pleased

Daisy was living her life the only way she knew how - she was partying, drinking, and doing everything she could to show her Mother up. However, even she hasn't planned for this latest scandal...
At just sixteen years old, Daisy Bloom got pregnant by one of her many one-night "friends"

She tried to keep the secret, but her Mother soon found out and was less than supportive
She cried, she yelled, she accused Daisy of getting pregnant purposefully to ruin her image. She decided that enough was enough and that she could not allow her daughter to disrupt her career any longer - she had to go.

Daisy packed a bag and was exiled from her mansion home, told never to return

Daisy, now homeless, turned to her only real friend in the world

Penny offered to allow the pregnant teen to crash on her couch for a while, but with such a small apartment and lack of money herself, Daisy couldn't expect to stay forever, nor be able to raise her child there

Daisy was just grateful for a friendly face and a place to lay her head, as she thanked Penny and asked her not to tell her mother that she was staying that - Penny, though, has already decided that she no longer cares to work for Anita - she only stayed so long for Daisy, anyway

To thank Penny for letting her stay, Daisy made some dinner for the two of them

And the two sit down to discuss some realistic plans - Daisy needs a place to live, and a job to provide money. She has, luckily, $5,000 savings that she has access to (anything else she can kiss goodbye as her mother will never allow her to access her fortune!). This may be just enough to cover a small apartment, and Penny promises to help Daisy find somewhere to live

The issue of the baby, and what will happen to it, will have to wait though, as the pregnant teen and her new roommate are both exhausted and emotional, heading to sleep without another word

Some time passes and, as Daisy enters her second trimester of pregnancy, Penny explains that she may know of a place that Daisy can rent out - but, tells her not to expect much. The landlord is sleazy, the apartment is tiny and in need of a LOT of love (and cleaning products), and definitely not somewhere she can raise a child

Penny takes Daisy to the apartment and chats to the landlord, explaining Daisy's financial situation and agrees to co-sign the lease (as a teen, Daisy cannot actually move in without an adult)

As Daisy looks around the apartment, she knows that this is indeed no place to raise a child. She can handle living here while she saves for someplace better, but decides that it's in her child's best interests to be raised somewhere else

Daisy quickly finds herself a job to get some money - she works at a fast-food restaurant, earning $16 an hour and working 5pm-9pm Wednesday-Sunday. As she's never attended a real school and has no parent to sign her into (nor interest in being gossiped about at) a high school, she is forced to give up her studies.

Eventually, Daisy is able to move into her new home - a deposit of $500, furniture for $2,970, plus a new TV, Oven and Bed for $1,295 and a weekly rent of $400, Daisy is left with $235
She lives cheaply, working hard to earn money (most of which disappears immediately on food) and dreaming about her future in an apartment without a mysterious cheesy smell...
After another hard shift at work and looking forward to two days off, Daisy heads to bed - only to be woken up by her waters breaking! It's time for the baby to be born...
Daisy calls Penny, who is quick to take her to the hospital
And it's time to have the baby...
Daisy gives birth to a little girl and is able to give her her first bottle
Before having to say a quick and emotional goodbye - if Daisy registers her daughter, her Mother will surely find out and so will the paparazzi; it's better to simply leave the hospital
Daisy snaps a photo of her daughter before rushing off
She also leaves a letter...
Dear whoever finds and takes in my daughter
My name is Daisy. I am sixteen years old. I have no choice but to leave my daughter here because I cannot allow her to be found out about. I love her with all my heart and one day I will return for her. Please raise her to be a creative soul, as I know she will be. I would be so pleased if you would name her Penelope, after my only friend in the world and the woman who helped me and her through the hardest time of my life.
Please tell my daughter that I love her and that I left her only because I had no other choice.
Thank you.
