Episode Thirteen PART 1: Hello, Emily

Hey guys! Sorry for the long wait, but we're back with another episode of a famous runaway! In the last episode, you'll recall, Daisy finally mustered up the courage to call Emily and ask for a visit to the foster home and today's the day. 


Quick note: these screenshots are from Emily's Foster Home (visit here: https://www.facebook.com/EmilysFosterHomeSims4/) and the hairstyle is different, I apologise for the continuity error - just imagine her hair is the new beautiful style! :) 



Well without further ado, let's catch up... 



Before Emily allowed Daisy to meet her daughter, she wanted to check out her new apartment and find out how she was getting on... So, she headed over to San Myshuno to visit the hopeful young Mum

Inside she greeted Daisy happily, and the two got to know each other

Emily asked Daisy about her career and her support network. Daisy explained that she was working in the culinary profession and her best friend, Penelope Pizzazz, was also a chef.

Daisy offered to cook something to eat for Emily, a childhood favourite of her own, and Emily happily accepted. Daisy told Emily she was welcome to look around while she cooked, and that she'd give her a proper tour after lunch

Enjoying her food, Emily first took a look at Daisy's bedroom. It was rather bare at the moment, but generally seemed to be in good order and had everything she'd need. Daisy explained that she was saving up for her daughter's return and so didn't want to spend too much money on useless decoration quite yet

Daisy then took Emily into the second bedroom, which would be Penny's room. She walked her through her ideas for decorating, and Emily was happy to hear that she was so prepared

Emily explained to Daisy that she would need to prove herself as a Mother before Penny could return home. Of course, Daisy understood and was extremely grateful that Emily was looking out for Penny so well

With a hug goodbye and a promise that Daisy would visit the foster home tomorrow, Emily headed off back in time for the foster kids to return home from school

Episode Eleven: Happiest Birthday

It's the morning of Daisy's birthday and she starts the day with breakfast and some TV  And gets some chores done  Then enjoys a relaxing bubble bath as she thinks about what to have for lunch... She decides on garlic noodles, a gourmet meal that has become her speciality after practising it on her breaks at work   Speaking of work, she has to head off not long after lunch, excitingly planning the day she can leave and move on to better things  Returning home happy from her shift, where she received many birthday wishes, Daisy awaits her visitor  Penny!  (glowing due to H&H festival)  Penny is excited that her little girl is finally becoming an adult  She wishes her a happy birthday and gives her a gift  A birthday cake!  With no time to waste, she blows out the candles and ages up - she is officially an adult! She gains the Family-Oriented trait too :)  ...

Episode Four: Going Through The Motions

It's another morning in San Myshuno as Daisy prepares some breakfast to fuel her for the day ahead Daisy continues to watch cooking shows in hopes of inspiration and increasing her skills It's Saturday and Daisy decides to make the most of the day before heading off to work at 5, so she checks out a new website she heard about where you can pick up odd jobs for extra cash She finds a decently paid job picking up food and delivering it to people's houses, which she heads off to do Returning home two hours later, she made $36 - not bad! Daisy has just enough time for a bowl of chips Before having to head off to work for the evening While at work there's a gas leak in the apartment! But luckily the landlord is around and a neighbour called him over, so he's able to come in and fix the mess while Daisy is at work! Daisy returns home feeling extremely happy: she got a promotion!
