Episode Nine: The Invitation

Yet another problem faces Daisy on this Saturday morning - her sink breaks! 

Not wanting to call in the landlord again, she decides to take a crack at fixing it herself 


And, feeling confident and accomplished having been able to fix it, she takes on some other housework



But ends up having to call the landlord anyway, because she spots a gas leak 


So, she jumps in the bath while the landlord tackles the leak (luckily the door locks!) 



With the apartment in a slightly less awful state, Daisy tries her hand at a gourmet recipe - garlic noodles 


It goes quite well and she sits down to enjoy them in front of the TV, finally finding a channel that isn't covering those darn Starlight Accolades!


After lunch, she receives a call from Luna. Her friend is opening a salon and clothing store in a few days and offered Luna early access to it - she knows that Daisy's birthday is coming up and would like to treat her!

Daisy tells Luna she'll think about it, claiming to already have plans for her birthday - but, in reality, she's worried that she won't be able to afford anything or have to spend everything she's saved on the makeover! 


With the invitation in the back of her mind and wishing she could've accepted immediately, Daisy heads off to work


Returning home and quickly calling Luna to accept the invitation after all... 

She got the promotion she wanted! She got a $358 bonus and also earns $20 an hour and has a total of $1598 in her account - almost enough for the deposit and first lot of rent for the new apartment she wants! 
So, she has decided that she'd like to celebrate and treat herself to a new style to celebrate! 

Luna is thrilled and also invites Penny along 


So, with an exciting day of shopping and spending time with friends ahead of her, the almost adult Daisy heads to bed, needing her rest before a busy day...

Episode Eleven: Happiest Birthday

It's the morning of Daisy's birthday and she starts the day with breakfast and some TV  And gets some chores done  Then enjoys a relaxing bubble bath as she thinks about what to have for lunch... She decides on garlic noodles, a gourmet meal that has become her speciality after practising it on her breaks at work   Speaking of work, she has to head off not long after lunch, excitingly planning the day she can leave and move on to better things  Returning home happy from her shift, where she received many birthday wishes, Daisy awaits her visitor  Penny!  (glowing due to H&H festival)  Penny is excited that her little girl is finally becoming an adult  She wishes her a happy birthday and gives her a gift  A birthday cake!  With no time to waste, she blows out the candles and ages up - she is officially an adult! Episode Four: Going Through The Motions

It's another morning in San Myshuno as Daisy prepares some breakfast to fuel her for the day ahead Daisy continues to watch cooking shows in hopes of inspiration and increasing her skills It's Saturday and Daisy decides to make the most of the day before heading off to work at 5, so she checks out a new website she heard about where you can pick up odd jobs for extra cash She finds a decently paid job picking up food and delivering it to people's houses, which she heads off to do Returning home two hours later, she made $36 - not bad! Daisy has just enough time for a bowl of chips Before having to head off to work for the evening While at work there's a gas leak in the apartment! But luckily the landlord is around and a neighbour called him over, so he's able to come in and fix the mess while Daisy is at work! Daisy returns home feeling extremely happy: she got a promotion!
