Episode Two: The First Day
With the baby born and Daisy forcing herself to resume her normal life, she jumps into the bath and tries to relax, putting recent events from her mind

However, this isn't easy and her mind wanders back to her daughter; she wishes she could know who found her, who took her in, and if she's okay
Deciding she needs to get out of the house and clear her mind, she heads over to the Windenburg library

Where she reads up on cooking, hoping to impress her boss and build her skill up enough to one day qualify for a job in catering without a high school degree

She reads quietly for a while, but soon sees a pregnant lady join her table and her mind is drawn back to her daughter; she is about to leave when she spots a girl around her age reading alone in a far corner

It's the middle of the day and anyone her age would be in school, so she heads over and waits to see if the girl will spark up a conversation
She does, and Daisy discovers her name is Luna and that she is homeschooled
Daisy wonders whether to tell Luna about her life, but instead settles to tell her that she too is homeschooled, wanting to leave the details for a later time

Chatting with Luna, the first person her age she's met in a long time, took her mind off of her situation, and she leaves the library feeling much more content

Back at home, Daisy decides to take a crack at cooking a new mac n' cheese recipe she read about

But like most things in the apartment, the stove is faulty and breaks into flames! Luckily, Daisy acts fast and puts out the fire, but is extremely angry and tense that the stove she bought is faulty

Daisy has just enough time to take a bath and clean off the soot

And call her landlord to complain about the faulty wiring in her stove

Before heading to work
She spends her whole shift with her mind on her apartment; her landlord said that, because she purchased the stove, she has to pay a percentage towards the repair and replacement of it! She's furious, especially because it will take almost all of her remaining cash, but she knows there's little she can do and decides to keep on with the job and just do what she has to do

Returning home, Daisy calls her landlord and squares up the payment; he takes $235 towards the replacement of the stove, leaving Daisy with a measly $60 to her name

Daisy finishes off the Mac N' Cheese from earlier, but not feeling hungry, she just puts it in the fridge for tomorrow

With a hectic day over with and the stressful incident with the stove sorted out, Daisy heads to bed, where her sleep is plagued with dreams of her daughter, her Mother, and her uncertain future
